Can I write more than 80 minutes of audio with Power Audio CD Burner?
It is possible if your CD Recorder supports the over burning feature. The Recorder must support this type of media as well. Some recorders support 80min media but will not support 90min or 99min media. You need to have the latest firmware for your recorder model, as it will contain information to enable over burning, but most importantly, it will contain Read/Write strategies for new CDR and CDRW brand of media and can resolve many issues you may otherwise run into.
You MUST burn in Disc-At-Once write mode or you can not over burn and write the maximum available audio data on the disc (for example it is 82 min for the 80 minutes duration of disc). The multisession mode is not possible, if you want to burn such CDs. For example,For 80min disc - 82:00
For 90min disc - 89:30
For 99min disc - 99:54:74Important Note: If you use over burning it will always enable burning to the max regardless of media used.

Finalization is always done after burning, setting the writeFinalizeCD property doesn't work.
There are two types of finalization:
- Session finalization. In this case the CD itself is not finalized so additional sessions can be added later.
- CD finalization. In this case both the session and CD is finalized. After that additional tracks and files cannot be added to the CD.
Thus if you set the writeFinalizeCD property to TRUE, the session and CD will be finalized. If you set the property to FALSE, the only last session will be finalized and you will able to add data to the CD later.
Please note that it is not possible to cancel finalization and erasing. Also it is not possible to predict finalization and erasing time precisely.

What CD recorder does Power Audio CD Burner support?
Please check that system recognizes your drive. If the drive is not recognized by the system our controls can not recognize it too.
On some systems Power Audio CD Burner fails to recognize some HP USB model recorders because of a conflict with WNASPI32.DLL driver and the USB Bridge used by HP.
A quick solution is to replace the WNASPI32.DLL file in the installation directory with an older ASPI driver.

How often can a rewriteable CD be used?
In general we can't give a number. The Manufacturer of the RW should have more detailed information about this issue.
